  1. Limited Participation: The Academy seeks to maintain an intimate and focused environment, limiting participation to a maximum of 25 individuals. This exclusivity allows us to provide personalized attention and support to each participant.
  2. Application Submission: The first step in the selection process involves the submission of a comprehensive application. This documentation provides us with valuable insights into your qualifications and aspirations.
  3. In-Person Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an in-person interview. This interview is a critical component of the selection process, providing an opportunity for both parties to explore mutual fit and alignment of goals.
  4. Commitment to Excellence: Those accepted into the program are expected to make a dedicated one-year commitment to their personal growth and development. This includes a financial commitment to cover travel expenses for attending our Leadership Academy workshops and activities.
  5. Program Schedule: Our Leadership Academy is structured to optimize your learning and growth. Sessions are scheduled for the second Thursday of each month (8 AM – 5 PM), commencing in March 2024, and culminating in a celebratory Graduation event in November 2024.
  6. Tuition: To participate in this exclusive program, a tuition fee of $500.00 is applicable. This fee is an investment in your personal and professional development, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional value. Tuition is due 2 weeks before the program starts.
  7. Application Deadline: Mark your calendars! The application deadline for the upcoming cohort is February 2nd, 2024. Make sure to submit your application and accompanying materials before this date to be considered for this transformative experience.

Nine total sessions including orientation and graduation.

The classes are held on the second Thursday of every month (unless noted) at The Holland Center (unless meeting offsite that class).

Every class starts PROMPTLY at 8 AM and concludes between 4:30 and 5:00 PM.

YES. Everyone will receive a printed handout at the start of every session and handouts and other materials (depending on the session).

After every class you will receive an email on the following Tuesday that will have a link to a shared folder that will contain all the class materials and any presentation materials.

Yes, in fact, we encourage you to post, take photos, and engage on the DFL social media platforms. Everyone will be provided with a link to upload their photos into a shared folder so the entire class can remember all the wonderful memories you will be creating and the contacts you are making.

Yes. We are always seeking sponsors to provide food for breakfast and lunch as well as any snacks and drinks. You will be on your own for dinner. We always recommend bringing any drinks or snacks you prefer as long as they do not interfere with the class, or the students around you, and contain any negative odors or make a mess.
